Can't wait till they privatize our country's mail serviceAllen
They must have a quantum computer or something. How is it possible that the tracking for my packages say "Delivery attempted" hours before the delivery truck arrives? Then when the truck finally arrive, I asked the delivery person, they tell me I have nothing. These packages are form Amazon so the chances of a mistake are slim.Kaki Jennings
This post office doesn't have a lot going for it in terms of physical layout so things are cramped and unappealing from the get-go. As a result, the staff need to do whatever they can to be super customer-focused and friendly. Perhaps they could put up some posters that advertise stamps or the other things that they have for sale. And I am wondering if there is some way that they could expand the area where customers can pack their flat rate mail boxes or fill out postal-related forms. It would be great if they could get this activity away from the doors that the customers use to enter the actual business area. I will say that the last time I was at this facility, the postal person who waited on me was friendlier than was the norm previously. The worst postal person I have ever encountered was the fellow at this facility who was a bit older and had grey hair--the one who chastised customers when they hadn't filled out a form or addressed a box quite right. Also, he did so in a loud enough voice so that everyone standing in line could hear. He was so dreadful that whenever I would go to this post office, I would do whatever I could to avoid having to interact with him. When I compare him to the postal staff at the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Kahala (Pahoa) post offices where service is simply outstanding, it is like night and day--before and after. I think this man was in some sort of senior position at the Kahili facility, but he was everything that you don't want in an employee. Again, he wasn't at the counter the last time I was at the Kalihi facility so I am hoping he has retired.Cassie Reeh
This place has the worst customer service ever! The attendants were very rude and snapped at this little old lady in the wrong line. Other patrons were spoken to harshly. Then I had trouble filling out the international package form, and they said to each other across the busy office,” she’s STILL got it wrong!” And sent me to one side without any instructions or help and it was just a simple signature that was needed at the bottom. This place obviously doesn’t care about the people they serve. They’re their to get a paycheck, and everyone else’s time, and respect isn’t their concern.Matthew Tamme
They are really open till 5 if you are picking up parcel... The two ladies think it is cute to tell you they are closed if you walk in to the main entrance as if there are specific instructions outside that tell you to go in through the po box door that ultimately leads you to the same place only an old wooden door... one star cause I got my parcel and the guy who helped me was cool
I guess if your from a neighbor island or new in general to the area you gotta pay your "dues" even at the post office...
Fast and Easy. Very Kind.Nue
I've called about a missing package and they said they would get a supervisor to call me, but no call came back.Sebastian Winters
So far I've called thrice, the second time the phone was answered and then hung up a second later without a word and the third it rang for a second.Nicole Moorecherry
Horrible service!! I requested an address change. They put it in for the wrong month. I wasn't able to get any mail for an entire month and my mail was returned to sender. They charge me for a month that I never got any service. Horrible service!! If I didn't need a box I would have came to this post office.Sriracha Lopez
horrible experience with usps in general plus this location. they never leave my package even when someone is obviously home. on top of that i have to go out and pick it up myself because scheduling a redelivery through the website is crap and nothing gets delivered. so once in this post office.. first thing i'm asked is "how do you know it's here?" with an attitude. these people need some lessons in manners and wayyyy better customer servicing. it's not our fault our packages weren't left at our doorstep when they dont require signatures. lastly, we have packages delivered so that we dont have to go out and get them! its the whole point!
